1. Master’s degree in Psychology

2. Certification standards as established by the Louisiana State Department of Education

 

REPORTS TO: Pupil Appraisal Manager

 

JOB GOAL: To assist in counseling, screening and evaluating suspected exceptional
students and to assist in the re-evaluation of identified exceptional students

 

TERM: Nine, Ten, or Eleven Months

 

SALARY: Nine, Ten, or Eleven Month Teacher Salary Schedule

             Nine, Ten, or Eleven Month Student:Pupil Appraisal Salary Schedule

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. To serve as a member of the appraisal team with responsibility in appraisal of intelligence factors
II. To collect and analyze appraisal date
III. To provide consultation to teachers, professional personnel, parents and community agencies
IV. To establish and execute a professional growth and self-evaluation plan
V. To work effectively with school personnel and staff
VI. To consistently demonstrate self-direction
VII. To submit accurate records and reports promptly
VIII. To exhibit professional ethics
IX. To foster open communication and positive relationships with school personnel and staff
X. To foster open communication and positive relationships with the community
XI. To perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Special Education
XII. To follow state and School Board policies
