JOB GOAL:               

To be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas of the site building plant, facilities, grounds and equipment.

 

To manage, supervise, and/or direct a variety of building service operations in order to maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of the assigned school district site.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
  1. Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies
  1. Manage and/or supervise the work performed by subordinate custodial staff at assigned
  1. Requisition and maintain supplies and materials necessary to provide service
  1. Prepare and maintain records and/or reports related to custodial services and make recommendations to administrators
  1. Report safety hazards to supervisor
  1. Work cooperatively with custodial supervisor, building evaluator, and other custodial / maintenance personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.
  1. Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator.
  1. Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator.
  1. Perform other related duties as assigned by custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator.
  1. Follow federal, state, and Rapides Parish School District policies.
